Lisa Breeze

Lisa Breeze is a Melbourne-based architect specialising in residential design, creating homes for and with the people who live in them. She also happens to be JAC AND's longest-standing client, so we’ve been privileged to provide strategic and design support as her practice has evolved over the years. Like the intelligent and beguiling homes she designs, Lisa has somehow found a way to be both structured and flexible in her approach; qualities we’ve aimed to carry across to the brand. In 2025, we updated her website, collateral and documentation to reflect the maturity of her practice, without losing any of the authentically Lisa-ness of her brand.

Knowing Lisa for so long meant any kind of rebrand or refresh would be straightforward. A light research and strategy process cemented Lisa’s brand positioning and uncovered opportunities to refine her presence. However, where many smaller-scale practices choose this moment to inflate their practice, with Lisa, the story is kept honest and personal, down to the first-person voice of the copy or the pet making a cameo in portfolio photography.

Besides refining the design, the new website needed to also support Lisa in running her practice. A ‘pre-brief’ section was created, allowing Lisa to easily understand the scale and suitability of a project before committing time to a potential new client. This functionality is complemented by a suite of educational documents ready to email in which Lisa answers frequently asked questions.

While Lisa’s name is prominent on new site signage, it’s the material that takes centre stage. Coloured boards and mirrored signs on hoarding outside homes under construction announce a project of integrity and personality to the neighbourhood.

Restraint informed the colour palette and visual language: Clean, human, refined and just a tad playful.

It is always heartening to see a brand succeed, grow and evolve. It’s rare to see this happen without losing sight of what makes the brand great in the first place. Lisa partners with people creating their dream home, with an enjoyable experience built in. Her updated brand keeps that uniqueness at the forefront and allows Lisa Breeze to keep doing what she does best.

"Lisa Breeze is our longest standing client. Growing alongside each other, it’s been enriching to see her practice strengthen while remaining authentic. It’s rare to have such clarity and conviction from day one. Lisa designs homes. She is a partner for people who are building their dream, and she respects that position wholeheartedly."
